What is your speciality?
I've always loved photographing people. My focus today is on portraiture of individuals aged 60 and older. This demographic often receives little attention and representation in photography.
My goal is to spend time with you and capture a "real you" moment. Before the shoot, I’ll send you a survey to get to know you better.
What is the Senior QueerFolk Portrait Project?
This project is about photographing real people, aged 60+, who have navigated this far in a world often marked by homophobia.
This mission is deeply personal to me. Your face, your story, and your pride deserve to be celebrated. Let’s create something meaningful together.

Where do you work?
I keep it local to the Vancouver, WA/Portland, OR area, where I’m based. We can shoot in the city, outdoors, or at a location of your choice. My preference is my studio, located just north of Vancouver.
How long have you been doing this?
It feels like I was born with a camera in hand—so, quite a while! But the more I learn, the more I realize how much there is to discover. I use every tool and bit of technology available to capture the most natural shot possible.
What am I paying for with a shoot? Do I get the images?
Your booking includes a portrait session at your chosen location, my selection of the best images, light-to-moderate editing on up to 5 images, and access to a digital gallery where you can download all the top photos.
Prints and canvases are available to order directly from your gallery. Each is priced individually and fulfilled by my trusted print partner.
How many photos do we get?
After the shoot, I’ll provide a curated selection of photos in a digital gallery labeled "Proofs." You can select up to five images for retouching, with additional retouching available for a fee if you’d like more final edits. Once completed, the images will be delivered to a folder in your gallery titled "Finals."
You’ll also have the option to order any or all images in various formats directly from the Finals gallery, with printing services managed by my trusted vendor.
How do we get our photos?
All photos are delivered digitally. Prints are available for order directly from your digital gallery.
Do you retouch photos?
I’ve made adjustments to all the photos in your gallery to ensure they are optimal. Any additional modifications are available for a fee.
What's your turn around time?
My turnaround is generally 7 days. I’ll let you know the exact date you can expect to view your digital gallery when we confirm your shoot date.

Can you help us with planning for the shoot?
Generally, keep clothing and accessories simple and low-contrast so that you remain the main focus of the shoot, rather than your horizontally-striped yellow and black sweater. Unless, of course, the sweater IS the story. Once booked, you'll receive an overview of suggestons to prep for the shoot.
How far out do you book?
